Richard’s studio is set in the English countryside, with views to sea. All the creative work for the collections is developed here.
The exterior of the late eighteenth century barn belies the contemporary and inspirational space within.
All the designs are sketched and then painted by hand before being sent to Thailand for commercial reproduction. Corresponding yarns are kept in both locations to facilitate the process.
The genesis of each collection draws on a wide variety of sources including fashion, photography and Richard’s own paintings.

The Jim Thompson compound four hours north of Bangkok becomes the creative base twice a year where final sampling and production is overseen by Richard.
